It was a great honor to be a part of something that would help the families that were affected by hurricane Katrina. I recently decided to star my #mylife series up again. I had put music away to focus on other things in my life not knowing or embracing the fact that I was put here to make music. To have an impact on the lives of many through song/melody.. Hope and faith brought me back to it. As soon as I decided to get back into music full time all sort of doors starting opening up for me. This being one of them. I shot this in Lisbon, Portugal in early November 2013 while working with an award winning Portuguese Afro/Funk/Pop group called NuSoul Family. I've been writing for them for a few years now. Proud to say that one of their albums won them an MTV Europe award for "best portuguese act/artist". The #mylife series is a behind the scenes look into my journey in life/music/love/faith/hope and more. I hope you enjoy!!
